 Kim Rickards BA LLM has been a solicitor since 1978, practising mainly in civil litigation, representing plaintiffs and insurers in major common law and statutory personal injury claims, including successfully instituting the first series of Legionnaires Disease claims in Australia.
Kim specialises in advising and representing clients in professional negligence claims (legal, medical, dental, building) and representing private and government clients in commercial disputes. Kim is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and has a wealth of experience acting for Plaintiffs and Defendants in all NSW and Federal jurisdictions.
Kim is admitted as a solicitor in NSW, WA, ACT and the UK, and has held appointment as an arbitrator and judicial officer for some years.
Kim was a founding partner of Baker Ryrie Rickards Titmarsh.
Kim is a passionate sporting enthusiast, involved with thoroughbred racing as an owner and administrator and with rugby union as an official and legal adviser.
